In short
- Kairos uses no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies and no third-party tracking services.
- Without an account we set no cookies – except a guest ID once you pick in “Green or Red?” or start a test drive.
- After you sign in we set a session cookie so that you stay signed in.
- Some settings such as the colour scheme are stored locally by your browser – they are not sent to us.
- Because all of this is strictly necessary, there is nothing for you to accept. That is why there is no cookie banner, just a short notice.
What exactly is stored
kairos.session_token- Purpose

Online, the cookies carry the prefix __Secure- and are only transmitted encrypted (HTTPS). The session cookie is httpOnly, so scripts on the page cannot read it.
Usage statistics without cookies
For simple usage statistics we use no cookies but a hash that changes daily and contains no IP address (see the privacy policy). If “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” is active in your browser, Kairos sends no events.
Connections to third parties
On coin pages your browser loads the live price directly from Binance; Binance technically receives your IP address. Kairos sets no cookies for this. We serve fonts and coin logos from our own server, without any connection to Google or CoinGecko.
Legal basis
Cookies and storage that are strictly necessary for a service you request do not require consent. In Switzerland, Art. 45c of the Telecommunications Act requires us to inform you and to point out that you can refuse them – we do so with this page and the short notice. In the EU, for Germany, § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG applies.
Refusing and deleting
You can block or delete cookies and browser storage at any time in your browser settings. Kairos keeps working – without cookies you just cannot sign in and guest picks in “Green or Red?” and guest test drives are not kept together; without browser storage Kairos does not remember your colour scheme and watchlist. Should we ever use cookies that are not necessary, we will ask for your permission first.
